Sodium Iodate

Sodium Iodate is a white, crystalline powder that is used as a chemical disinfectant. Calibre’s Sodium Iodate is mainly used in everyday life as iodised salt. This odourless powder also acts as an oxidiser in engineering sulphur dyes, and hence is combustible. Sodium Iodate is also used in the baking industry as a maturing agent that helps condition bread doughs.
